Meet The Pastor

Pastor Douglas Kuhl

Pastor Douglas Kuhl is our lead Pastor at First Baptist Church of Cambridge, Idaho. He is an ordained minister through the National Association of Christian Ministers, with a Masters of Divinity with Distinction from John W. Rawlings School of Divinity and a Masters in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. His also holds formal educational degrees in Leadership as well as Liberal Arts from Oregon State University, and the New Mexico Military Institute. Additionally, Pastor Doug has training and certifications in suicide prevention, marriage enrichment, and life coaching. Pastor Doug is a retired U.S.  Army Colonel. with 24 total years of Army leadership in service to our country. 

Pastor Doug is committed to effective expository preaching, the inerrancy of Scripture, purposeful discipleship, and bringing others to know the love of Jesus Christ, starting right here in our rural community.
