WHO WE ARE
We are a small Bible-based Christian church located in Cambridge, Idaho. We are a community-oriented church with deep roots in the Salubria Valley, spanning over several generations. Washington County is commonly referred to as the Heart of Idaho. This reference truly speaks to the people and vision not only of the community but also our church.
Cambridge First Baptist is a welcoming community church. We believe that the door to salvation is always open, and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth, to win souls for our Lord, and to help members lead a more Christ-centered life.
What We Believe
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis for our beliefs. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ. We are personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation through the redemption and resurrection of Jesus Christ to a lost mankind. We believe in the separation of church and state, in freedom of individual consciousness, in the priesthood of all believers, and that we are called to be disciples of Christ. The ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's supper.
